JORDAN LEIGH SMITH is Davis Polk & WardwellLLP’s litigation department in New York. Her practice focuses on white collar criminal and regulatory mattersinvolving allegations of securities fraud, insider trading, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, fraud andother financial crimes. Ms. Smith also advises companies on corporategovernance issues and the implementation of effective compliance programs,including with respect to the ForeignCorrupt Practices Act.  She graduatedsumma cum laude from HofstraUniversity School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Law Review.  She also clerked for a federal judge:  Honorable Irene M. Keeley on the UnitedStates District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
