GREG O'DONOHUE is Legal Counsel in Derivatives with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan where he specializes in derivatives transactions and financial markets regulation. He has been involved in all aspects of derivative transactions for the past eight years, including over-the–counter and exchange traded derivative products, as well as securities lending and repurchase transactions. In addition to negotiating derivative documentation, a large portion of his current practice is dedicated to derivatives reform within Canada, Europe and the United States, including participation in the Canadian Market Infrastructure Committee and commenting upon domestic and international derivatives reform initiatives. He is also actively involved within the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, participating in several ISDA initiatives, including ISDA’s Canadian Steering Committee, Buy-Side Advisory Group, Dodd-Frank Documentation Initiative and the development of the Equity Derivatives Determinations Committee. He has participated as a speaker at an ISDA conference related to regulatory developments within Canada.
