RITU KHANNA, as Head of GlobalCore Payments for PayPal Canada, is a key member of the leadership team drivingthe growth and strategic direction of the Canadian PayPal business. Her primarygoals are to work with the payments ecosystem to improve efficiency and effectivenessof money movement in and out of the PayPal wallet. In addition, Ritu hasstrategic oversight of key functions for PayPal Canada including GovernmentRelations, Compliance and Legal. She represents PayPal within in the Canadianpayments landscape by liaising with bodies such as the Canadian CompetitionBureau, Department of Finance, FinancialConsumer Agency of Canada, and is a member of the StakeholderAdvisory Council established by the Canadian Payments Association. Prior tojoining PayPal, Ritu spent a number of years at some of Canada’s top financialinstitutions including RBC and CIBC, primarily focused on credit cards andpayments. She has led and contributed to several initiatives with key loyaltyand retail brands including Starbucks, WestJet, Aeroplan, and Exxon Mobil. Rituhas a breadth of experience including managing large P&Ls, risk,operations, and product development. Ritu holds an undergraduate degree inEconomics from U of T and an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
