DAVID MERKO P.ENG.,CMRP is a Reliability Professional who has spentthe majority of his 20 year career trying to work himself out of a job bymaking industrial facilities run better.  He graduated from LakeheadUniversity with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and after a brief stint inconstruction he started his career in the Pulp & Paper business. There he worked in a variety of roles in project engineering, maintenance andreliability. Dave is a registered Professional Engineer in Albert & Ontarioand a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional. For thelast three years, he has been employed with Agrium as a Senior ReliabilitySpecialist in the Wholesale Technical services group.   One of hisprimary duties has been close support of the Reliability Improvement Program beingimplemented at 12 of the North American manufacturing facilities.  Dave isalso currently training to be a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  His office islocated in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta but regrettably has a large carbonfootprint.
