LARRY COTE is ManagingDirector with Canadian Institute forNon-Destructive Examination (CINDE). He graduated from Mohawk College in1977 with an Honors diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology. His 30 yearcareer at Dofasco included roles as Lubrication Lab Supervisor, QualityImprovement project manager, Senior Reliability Specialist and Team Leader ofthe Predictive Technical Services department. Larry is a Past National Chair of the Society ofMaintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP). He helped develop the Societyof Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) Certified LubricationSpecialist (CLS) program and the SMRP Certified Maintenance and ReliabilityProfessional (CMRP) program. He was an instructor for the LubricationFundamentals CE program for Mohawk College, and currently teaches PEMACMaintenance Management Professional (MMP) modules 1 and 5 for Northern LakesCollege and Predictive Maintenance Technologies for the Mohawk College QET-NDEprogram. In his current position as President / CEO of the Canadian Institutefor NDE (CINDE), Mr. Cote works closely with the Board of Directors to achievethe goals of the CINDE 2020 strategic plan.
