LUISAGIROTTO isthe Director, Public Affairs, at Starbucks Canada. Luisa has overallresponsibility for external, executive and partner communications, government affairsand global responsibility (CSR) for Starbucks Coffee Canada. She is a drivenleader, who cares about people, outstanding performance, and creatinghigh-functioning and values-led cultures. With over 20 years of successfully building and protecting leadingbrands, Luisa’s expertise spans multiple communications disciplines includinginternal communication, brand and corporate PR, crisis/issues management,corporate social responsibility and change management. In her career, Luisa hasheld senior leadership roles, most recently as Canadian general manager ofupcycling company TerraCycle, and vice-president of North American publicaffairs for Cadbury North America. Luisa holds an Honours B.A. in French andPolitical Science from the University of Toronto; Certificat, français langueseconde, from Université Laval ; and a Public Relations Certificate from RyersonPolytechnic University. She has been recognized as part of Cadbury’s highpotential development program, LeadersFor the Future, and has won several IABC Awards for internal communicationswork with Cadbury. An avid yoga enthusiast, Luisa is currently co-authoring abook, An Honest Living.  She lives with her family in Toronto.
