NANCYHOPKINS, QC, is a Partner at McDougall Gauley LLP inSaskatoon, where she practices business law, with an emphasis on mergers andacquisitions law and corporate governance. She currently serves as a directorof a number of corporations.  On theBoard of Cameco Corporation (CCO on the TSX; CCJ on the NYSE), she chairs theNominating, Governance & Risk Committee and is a member of the AuditCommittee. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of GrowthworksOpportunity Fund Inc., where she chairs the Audit Committee. As a member of theBoard of Directors of the CPPIB, she chairs the Governance Committee. Among herother board service, Nancy is a former Chair of the Board of Governors of theUniversity of Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon Airport Authority and SGI Canada.  In October 2012, Nancy was awarded the QueenElizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. This medal is awarded to Canadians inrecognition of the outstanding contributions they have made to their respectivecommunities. She is also a past recipient of the Athena Award. In December2013, Nancy was revealed as a recipient of the Women's Executive Network’s(WXN) 2013 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards in the CorporateDirectors category. These Awards celebrate and highlight the professionalachievements of women across the country in the private, public andnot-for-profit sectors.
