SHANNONMACDONALD isa Partner & Chief Inclusion Officerof Deloitte. Shannon MacDonald enjoysworking with private companies and governments. She leads the firm’s work withthe Government of Ontario, sits on the Toronto Executive as well as on theGlobal Deloitte board, and is the firm’s Chief Inclusion Officer. Over a recentfive-year period she led Deloitte’s professional services presence in AtlanticCanada as Atlantic Managing Partner. During that time she sat on the Executive Boardof Deloitte nationally and on the Canadian Board of Deloitte. She has alsoserved as the firm’s national health care leader. Her experience includestwenty-five years of public accounting and consulting services.  Shannon has served as the engagement partnerfor various Deloitte private company and public sector clients in Ontario andAtlantic Canada. She has conducted due diligence, external audit, riskmanagement, internal audit and governance assignments for various entities. Shannonhas also designed and delivered governance training and been an active memberof the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Ontario Hospital Association’sGovernance Centre for Excellence.  In avolunteer capacity, Shannon sat on the Board of Capital District HealthAuthority, Women’s College Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society Nova ScotiaDivision; and The Greater Halifax Partnership; and currently sits on theAtlantic Provinces Economic Council and the Board of Mount St. VincentUniversity. Shannon has championed Productivity improvement efforts throughsponsorship and involvement in incubation of new business, mentoring ofstart-ups and development of entrepreneurial curriculum development.  Shannon has a BBA from UPEI, a CharteredAccounting designation and a Masters of Health Science from University ofToronto. She has been recognized for two years as one of the Top 50 CEOs inAtlantic Canada and twice as one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women.
