VANDANA JUNEJA is Director,Central Canada, with Catalyst. Shemanages Catalyst’s relationships with its members in CentralCanada. Ms. Juneja works with Catalyst member organizations to advance theirdiversity and inclusion strategies, enabling them to create positive change forwomen and other diverse groups. Ms. Juneja is a member of the EvaluationCommittee for the Catalyst Canada Honours, a signature program at Catalyst thatrecognizes individual Canadian business leaders for their leadership inchampioning the advancement of women. She is also a member of Catalyst’sEmployee Resource Group Issue Specialty Team, as well as the Diversity and InclusionAction Council (DIAC). Ms. Juneja is a frequent public speaker on a broad rangeof topics such as the gender gap, high potential employees in the pipeline,mentoring, sponsorship, engaging men in gender initiatives, flexible workarrangements, women on boards, and inclusive leadership. Prior to joiningCatalyst, Ms. Juneja practiced law, following which she worked as a manager inthe Global Diversity and Inclusion groups of two of Canada’s leading financialinstitutions where she focused on women’s initiatives and advising EmployeeResource Groups. In pursuing her passion for empowering women, she has alsoworked as a Research Associate for the Pay Equity Task Force (Department ofJustice) and travelled to Vietnam with an NGO in partnership with theUniversity of Toronto to evaluate and report back on a micro-finance projectdesigned to help women living in poverty to understand and enter the mainstreambanking system. Ms. Juneja has earned a B.Comm. from McMaster University, anMBA from the University of Windsor, and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa.
