Most recently, Chris was the Chief Information Officer at The City of Edmonton from October 2008 to March 2014. In his role, he had responsibility for setting the vision and actions for the City’s information and technology direction and engaging with the community to develop the best technologies suited to the needs of residents. During his time with The City of Edmonton, Chris achieved a number of major milestones that positioned Edmonton as a leader in improving access to services for residents and the user experience for community and staff.

Olivia Neal

Olivia recently joined the Government of Canada from the UK, where she played a leading role at the award winning Government Digital Service.

Olivia introduced and embedded the Digital Service Standard in the work of digital delivery teams across UK government. She has overseen the assurance of hundreds of the largest public facing digital services against the Digital Service Standard, helping teams across government meet user needs, and transform the way they work.

Her team worked with government departments to save over £300m annually, through assuring that digital and technology spend meets the Technology Code of Practice. She’s worked with countries from around the world to build understanding of delivering high quality digital services and developing digital culture, and has been integral in the development of Digital Service Standards for Australia, UK Local Government, and Scotland.

Jenna Sudds is a champion of Ottawa’s Technology Sector, an accomplished leader, marketer and economic development professional. She is the inaugural Executive Director of the CIO Strategy Council working with Canada’s most forward-thinking Chief Information Officers to collectively address the pace of digital transformation.

Jenna was also the inaugural Executive Director of the Kanata North Business Association was actively promotes and supports over 500 companies located in Canada’s largest Technology Park. Jenna was named Kanata Citizen of the Year and is a Ottawa Chamber of Commer/Ottawa Business Journal Forty under 40 winner and Development Counsellors International 40 Under 40 in 2017. Jenna sits on a number of Boards and is an active volunteer for a number of causes.

Tammy Labelle was appointed Assistant Deputy Minister of the Integrated Services Branch on October 31, 2016.

In the role of Assistant Deputy Minister of the Integrated Services Branch, Tammy is responsible for the Client Service Strategy, which promotes service excellence across the Department. She is also responsible for the Government Information Services Sector, including the Public Opinion Research Directorate; Publishing and Depository Services; the Canada Gazette, which celebrated its 175th anniversary in October 2016; Electronic Media Monitoring Services; and the Advertising Coordination and Partnership programs.
